Last Post

So this will probably be the last of my daily updates. I have learned why it is that I didn't have a blog before, and the reason is that I don't have the persistence to do it with any regularity. This will be a short post because I only have 7 minutes until it is no longer today...

A funny thing happened this week as I tried to lose weight. I lost weight in my cheeks, and you could tell that they were skinnier. The fat around my chin however proved to be a little more resistant. So for a few days I had skinny cheeks and a fat neck. Hannah found it quite delightful. I didn't think to take a picture thankfully.

Enjoy your weekend!

Cliff's Nightmare

So here we are again. It is late at night and I haven't blogged yet. Tonight though, it isn't too big of a deal. Here is why...

Tonight we made meatballs, and I ate way too many of them. That is the reason I am still awake and able to blog. The meatballs haven't given me any indigestion or any severe stomach problems. No, the reason they are keeping me awake is that I am afraid that if I go to sleep I will have a nightmare. Just like in the classic episode from the Cosby Show "Cliff's Nightmare". You have all probably seen that one, so I won't go into any detail, but I will post a picture from the episode to help remind you.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, tonight I am not sleeping because I am afraid of the Muppets! How do you like that?

Gorilla

It is late at night, and I forgot to blog until now... I have already covered my lack of initiative when it comes to blogging at length, so I won't go into that here. As I was searching for something to blog quickly about I looked through my photo library and found this gem!

Yes it is so late at night, that I am posting a picture of Hannah and a Gorilla's butt. This picture was taken on our honeymoon when we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was a wonderful trip, and aren't we so lucky to have such valuable memories caught on camera. Thankfully Hannah is asleep so this will be up on the interweb before she can object...

Bad at Blogging

So the other day, I blogged promising that I would post each day for a week. Not three days go by before I blow it. Anywho, hopefully the rest of the week goes better. Since I was so bad at this commitment I thought I would share another one I recently made.

Most of you know that in high school I was very skinny. Cross country skinny... I continued to be skinny through my mission. Sometime in the past few years I started packing on the pounds. On Saturday I realized just how much weight I had gained. It was way more than I had expected. So as of Sunday I started a new dieting/ exercise regimen. While I'm not sure I can get back to high school weight, I hope to get into better shape.

Skinny
Fatter

Anyways, I hope I do a better job at losing weight then I have done at blogging!

1909

Yesterday while Hannah and I were out and about we stumbled across this...

We were at a neat vintage store called "Planted Earth". They sell old books, furniture, records, clothes, chandeliers, jewellery, and apparently VINTAGE POST CARDS! We saw a set called "Rulers of the World", and couldn't resist. You will soon see why. These postcards are cool for a few of different reason. First, they are from 1909! Second, the photographs of twenty-four different rulers of various nations are shown. Third, they are from 1909!!! I guess that is really only a couple of reasons, but still.

Some highlights are...
Apparently one of Persia's main exports in 1909 was opium!

Since 1909 the art of the mustache has apparently been lost.

This Chinese prince apparently wasn't permitted to be photographed as this is the only postcard with a painting instead of a photo.

We aren't quite sure what we will do with these, but I'm sure we will figure something out!

Memphis

Hannah has already covered how bad we are at blogging. Frankly it is a little bit embarrassing that my 15 year old sister found the time to update her blog more frequently than we update ours (here is a hint as to why it is embarrassing she has had her blog for less than a month). However I am quite ready to do better, in fact I am so committed to this blog that I pledge to blog each day for the next week. Maybe that will help raise our readership to 10 people. Anyways, on with the blogging...

Last week Hannah and I went out to lunch with my mom. We ate at a place in Provo called "Station 22". We got to listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan and played "Old Maid" while we waited for our food. Yes this is the first restaurant we have ever been to that has games for you to play. Also, complementing this fun atmosphere was the best sandwich I have ever tasted. Memphis fried chicken, pickled red cabbage, barbeque sauce and a fresh bun. These pictures obviously wont do it justice since I had already eaten half of it before I thought to take a picture.

Well I hope you enjoyed seeing my half eaten sandwich!
